Dream Central Hotel

Hailey gave me recommendations for things to do in Hanoi, thanks so much! Hailey and Thuy were both really kind, spoke great English, and gave great customer service 🤗😇 I’d recommend the hotel if you want to save on accommodation and stay close to central Old Quarter Hanoi.

The receptionists were always welcoming and kind, and ready to help. The rooms were tidy, clean, and well maintained, and I found the service outstanding. Dream Central Hotel Hanoi is affordable, comfortable, and in a great location. A high-quality stay on a budget, highly recommended!

We left and asked for a refund because the rooms looked nothing like the Agoda pictures. The listing said “shower & bath,” which was completely false. After losing an hour on the phone with Agoda in front of the receptionist, they got Agoda’s email but still refused to refund me. They’d said an email was needed to process it and made me think the refund would come through once it arrived. I ended up out 66 euros, around 2,000,000 VND. They never meant to refund me. Very dishonest. Avoid this place! The rooms were tiny, extremely noisy, and filthy, with mold, hairs, and stains everywhere. The beds were rock hard. We asked to switch rooms as soon as we arrived, but the second was almost as bad as the first. I felt uncomfortable right away, like I was sleeping on a rock. The staff kept saying the manager was “on his way home” and that I couldn’t speak to him. Very convenient. I even said I wouldn’t leave a negative review if they refunded me. This was the worst hotel I stayed at in all of Vietnam. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

There was mold in the shower, and a building across the street played loud music late into the night. We were meant to have the Junior Suite, but got another room. The balcony was supposed to have a table and chairs, and there was meant to be a big chair in the room. Neither was there. Definitely would not stay here again. It was misleading.
