Evelyn Indochine Chic in Central Hanoi

The room was spacious, clean, and packed with amenities, including a hob we unfortunately didn't have time to use. It's also in a great spot, just a short ride into town. The staff made the stay feel special from check-in, when they gave us a detailed list of local food recommendations. They also handled our laundry on request, washing and drying it and bringing it back the same day for free. We'd had a disappointing experience at a nearby hotel during the first half of our trip, so we were really looking forward to the second half at the Evelyn Indochine. This was easily one of our best apartment/hotel stays. We only had two nights here and were sad to leave. When we come back to Hanoi, this will be the first place we book.

The staff looked after us even before check-in and made an effort to speak our language so we could understand everything. They also suggested some delicious local restaurants. Getting around on foot was easy from this convenient location, and the amenities were complete, including laundry facilities. I was very impressed with the service and had an excellent stay.

The host kindly let us check out later for free, which saved us from rushing back from the hospital. My partner had food poisoning, so we ended up there and couldn't enjoy the beautiful room as much as we'd hoped. It's in a good location, really close to Hoan Kiem Lake.

I really appreciated the well-equipped mini kitchen, right down to the cooking utensils. The room was cozy and comfortable, and had everything I needed. Our host was wonderful, always quick to reply and even helping with things outside the accommodation. Thanks so much. I'd happily stay here again on my next visit to Hanoi.
