I arrived at night without proof of payment, but they still held my room for me. The staff were really nice, and the room was so clean for the price. I'm very happy with this hotel.

At 1am, I arrived to find my room had been given to someone else. My workplace had arranged the booking and agreed to pay after the stay. They called at 4pm on the day I was due to arrive and confirmed that was okay, but at the hotel I was told there was no room for me. The receptionist used Google Translate to say I could stay nearby and they'd cover a taxi. The place they took me to was a one-hour hotel, with guests coming and going all night, doors banging, and people arguing in the corridor. Everest was actually an okay room by comparison, but the service was terrible. At checkout around 8am, the receptionist was asleep at the desk and just grunted when I handed over the key, as if annoyed I'd woken her.
