First Eden Hotel

The room was okay and seemed clean. The hot water was strong and always available. The bathtub-style bathroom isn't ideal, especially for older people.

I was really impressed with the excellent service here. The breakfast restaurant staff were very enthusiastic and beautiful.

The hotel's location made getting around easy, with plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was simple and adequate, with a small selection of Western and Asian food, though nothing stood out. The hotel was fairly clean and the staff were polite, but the rooms were basic and needed a more thorough clean. The floors and cabinet edges were quite dusty. On our second night, the room had been serviced, but the blanket was tucked in upside down, which left us confused. We were there as part of a tour in Vietnam and arrived around 1 am, after landing at midnight. The lobby was completely dark, so even our bus driver struggled to find the entrance. Inside, staff were asleep on the reception floor and sofas. They got up quickly and were helpful, but it was unexpected and unlike anything we'd experienced before. Later, some of us tried to go to a nearby minimart, only to find the front doors locked and the reception team asleep again. We were essentially locked inside, which felt strange and unsettling. It's okay for a short stay if you're not expecting much. The location is great, but the service and overall experience could be improved.

Decent place to stay, though they’re really strict about not letting guests check in early.
