I mainly needed somewhere to sleep and adjust to the time change, but the area didn’t offer much for a tourist. No one was at the service desk when I arrived. In the room, one wall was badly moldy; the next room was better, though the shower corners were slimy. I’d look for somewhere else to stay.

It was cheaper to book through agoda than directly. This is a basic apartment with cooking facilities, conveniently close to a supermarket. The first towels I got were stained, but I emailed and they replaced them. There’s no reception or security, and checkout means returning the keys in the basement. I had no issues during my stay and would recommend it.

The Superior Studio was fully furnished, and the staff were nice.

We had a booking for the 19th and were told early check-in would be possible, so we arrived at 1 a.m. Everything was shut and nobody answered despite us ringing the bell again and again. When we called, someone who wasn’t fluent in English told us the hotel was full. My nephew and my dad, who’s over 60, were left outside in the dark rain, and we couldn’t find another hotel nearby. We had to head toward the lake, where our kind Grab driver found us a hotel with rooms available. Please double-check your bookings.
