The location is in a quiet spot but still not far from the Old Quarter or other busy areas. Staff and service were excellent, especially the lovely, polite, humble women at reception. We arrived late at 9:45 p.m., and although the restaurant closes at 10, the staff made us a good vegetarian meal and patiently waited while we ate until 10:45. The rooms were good, too. Breakfast could use more vegetarian choices, especially for people who don’t eat eggs. I’m fine with eggs, so I had no trouble finding something. Five stars for this hotel.

I loved the daily buffet breakfast on the 10th floor. Annie at reception was warm and welcoming, and happily answered all my questions. Great service.

There was plenty of fried rice at the rooftop restaurant. The only downside was that the air conditioning barely worked in the high heat.

Mr. Hanh and the front desk team were friendly and sorted out issues quickly. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and well equipped, and the breakfast options were decent.

Grandiose Hotel is well placed, away from Hanoi’s constant bustle but still close to the action. Lotte Mall and the cafés nearby are really good. The hotel was clean and well managed, with courteous staff and great service. Breakfast was good, though not especially friendly for vegetarians or vegans. They did forget to have the scooter ready even though we had booked it.
