The staff were friendly, but the rooms are worn out and not very clean, especially the floor. My aircon didn't work, though the fan was fine. The shower was good, but the ventilation wasn't working. The hotel is under construction right now, so it can be noisy at times, though not in the evening. It's away from the center and might suit solo travelers with low expectations who want to explore the hidden side of Hanoi. Also, the Maps name is wrong: the place is now called Ha Noi Vang Hotel Hoang Ngan, not RedDoorz.

The staff were lovely, and my spacious room came with a desk and chair. I managed to find a cheap room through Google Maps. Thanks, Google.

It's okay, though you should book in person instead of through Reddoorz Near.
