Hanoi Boutique Hotel & Spa

We ended up at Hanoi Boutique Hotel after escaping a really dirty place, and luckily they still had a room even though we arrived very late. The late check-in was no trouble at all. Our stay was lovely: the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were warm and helpful. Breakfast was the best we’d had at a hotel in Vietnam so far, and they let us leave our bags there for a few hours. I’d happily recommend it.

Hanoi Boutique Hotel & SPA felt like a peaceful family stop for us. The staff across the spa, reception, housekeeping, kitchen, and bell service were all cheerful and enthusiastic, so we didn’t feel lonely or sad when we arrived. The location is great, too. Inside, its boutique style has a distinctive feel, with classic elegance that made the bustle outside seem far away. It felt like stepping back in time.

Getting around was easy from here, with the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake close enough to walk to. Even with the heat outside, the air conditioning kept the room comfortable, and the hotel stayed quiet enough for a good night's rest. My room was roomy and spotless, with housekeeping keeping it in great shape each day. They also provided free bottled water. My Hanoi stay was fantastic and better than I expected.

The location made it easy to enjoy the Old Quarter. The night markets were a minute away on foot, and Hoan Kiem lake was about a 10-minute walk. Over our two weeks in Vietnam, my two friends and I were glad we chose this hotel. The staff were helpful and kind from the start, greeting us with smiles, suggesting places and activities, and answering any questions. Tony especially stood out. He helped with our suitcases, opened the door whenever we came or went, and on our last day carried our bags and walked us to the taxi, wishing us safe travels. We won't forget his friendly face or how pleased he seemed to have us. Thanks to Tony and the rest of the team for making the stay memorable.
