Hanoi Central Park Hotel

For a short stay, this place worked well for us. The room was small but enough for two people, clean, and equipped with the basics, so it felt worth the price. The staff welcomed us warmly and were friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. Given the price, location, and people around, it seems best suited to a brief visit.

We were so unhappy with the room that we changed hotels and didn't stay here at all. It was mouldy, smelled strongly and unpleasantly as soon as we entered, and felt unhealthy and very uncomfortable. The photos didn't match what we found. The sheets didn't seem clean, and someone else's hair was on the towels, which was disgusting. During my shower, the hot water suddenly stopped. We learned someone else was using water and had to wait about 15 minutes for it to come back. With the room's condition, mould, and lack of basic facilities, I wouldn't recommend this place.

The noise made it hard to get much sleep, and the bed was so hard and uncomfortable I felt like I'd spent the night on a pavement. The small room also had mould on the walls, peeling wallpaper, and flaking paint. I wish I hadn't stayed here.

We enjoyed the location, even though the hotel itself is petit. It's right in the city centre, and the hospitality was very helpful. We were satisfied with our stay on New Year Night.
