Hanoi Fiesta Grand Hotel

The restaurant crew on the 8th floor made a real difference to our stay. Each day they greeted us warmly, treated us with genuine kindness, and gave guests such attentive care that we felt at home. A big thank you as well to the doormen and front desk for their kindness and excellent service. Our family of five stayed for four nights, and everyone we met was professional, friendly, and willing to help. We were extremely satisfied, highly recommend the hotel, and hope to return.

Breakfast was on the rooftop at Level 8, with lovely views over the area. There was a station for eggs and pho, with chicken or beef pho and eggs cooked to order, plus a small buffet of bread, hot dogs, bacon, and salads. The hotel is in a great Old Quarter location, walking distance from Hoan Kiem Lake, the weekend night market, Ngoc Son Temple, shops, and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had booked a City View Suite through Agoda, but were told on arrival that the booking had been overlooked and the room wasn’t available. The staff apologized and offered an Executive Double Room with Window. Since we were only staying one night, we accepted, and they refunded the difference in price, which was nice. The room was small but clean and comfortable for the night. I’d stay again for the location and friendly service.

The staff and service were superb, and the location and other details were excellent. The rooms were very subpar, though. We paid extra for a suite with a balcony, but it felt like a sauna. It had its own AC, yet the temperature wouldn’t drop below 28. To show how hot it got, even the shampoo and body wash gel in the bathroom felt as hot as the tap’s hot water. Please don’t pay extra for this room. It’s the worst one in the hotel.

There’s plenty to do within walking distance, right near the lake, and it’s beautiful. Breakfast on the 8th floor was amazing. The woman working in the restaurant, I believe her name is Tien, was so helpful and attentive, wonderfully nice, and kept everything running smoothly. Great hotel in the heart of Hanoi. I’ll come back next time I’m in town.
