Radisson Resort Mui Ne

The Kid’s Club was the highlight for our family during Tet holidays. It was the best one our baby has experienced, with thoughtful, engaging, well organized activities. Ms. Yen was so friendly, always smiling, and wonderful with the kids. You could tell she loves what she does, which meant a lot to us as parents. There was plenty of open space for little ones to run around, and the adorable rabbits were a lovely touch. Our child adored the calm, wholesome feel of the place. The resort itself felt cozy and peaceful, with an intimate atmosphere that never felt overwhelming or crowded. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warmth and attentiveness. We had a beautiful stay and felt at home. We’re already looking forward to returning.

The staff were fantastic throughout, from the front desk to the restaurant and playroom. Their friendliness and professionalism made the stay much better. Breakfast was a fresh, tasty spread. We were on half board, and the other hotel food was okay but nothing memorable. The beach was small and very dirty, with construction going on. The bigger issue was the so-called 3-bedroom Villa. It was really a 1-bedroom Villa plus two adjoining rooms in the same building, but not actually part of the villa. We needed key cards to reach the two upstairs bedrooms. Traveling with family, that was a major disappointment. We couldn’t leave our child alone upstairs, or go down to the kitchen without taking a key card. We wouldn’t stay again. Vietnam has too many other nice beaches and resorts, and this fake 3-bedroom Villa was a real inconvenience.

The kids had so much fun playing in the fine sand and enjoying the big waves. We loved the beach, and spent four relaxing nights in two connected, spacious, clean rooms. Having two bathrooms was great. The seafood fried rice was delicious and came in a big portion. Other food and drinks were okay. We also enjoyed the wooden indoor kids’ area, and the staff at the massage were very friendly. The downtown area near the hotel was about 15-20 minutes away by Grab and had a bit of a Bali vibe, so we had fun there at night. We visited the red sand dune too, where the sunset was beautiful and we took lovely family pictures. It was a great family vacation, with nature in Mui Ne and a city trip in Ho Chi Minh making a perfect combination. Mui Ne is 3 hours from Ho Chi Minh by car.

We spent six nights here as a family. The hotel is new and fresh, with nice pools and facilities, and a good gym. I just wished it had heavier kettlebells, a warm-up stick and Pilates balls. Our half-board meals worked well for everyone, and the breakfast and other food were good. The red and white sand dunes are nearby, and we liked relaxing on the hotel's beach loungers. Getting around is a bit of a challenge. There isn't much in the surrounding area, and restaurants are hard to find, so we used Grab. You aren't allowed to bring food into the hotel. Mui Ne is about a 20-minute drive, and we went farther south for a nicer beach and shops and restaurants. It's also much windier here than just 30 minutes south, where the beach conditions are different. The hotel seems to struggle with the wind. The beach rubbish was upsetting to see. I think Radisson should work with local people on a cleanup, because something needs to change.
