The rooftop breakfast buffet has a panoramic view, and the food was delicious 😋. Staff were polite and very kind, especially the young woman at reception, who was always ready to help and spoke English very well. We’ve stayed here twice and I’d choose it again. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very nice, and the location makes it easy to walk to the attractions and the train station.

We’d stay here again. It’s a good central option for the price, with clean rooms, a nice breakfast spread, and lovely, polite staff. The main station, Train Street, the Temple of Literature, and the fine arts museum are nearby, while the Old Quarter is about a 20-minute walk away.

The breakfast room was pleasant, with a conservatory overlooking the city, and what I ate tasted good. There wasn’t much choice, though. The hotel was clean and nice, but both rooms we stayed in were dark and dingy. People shouted in the corridor on our first night, so I barely slept. We switched rooms for the last two nights, and that one was dark too, with a filthy bath. A few Explore groups complained about the same things, so I think Explore should choose a different hotel for the tour.

Really comfortable bed, and the air con worked very well. Breakfast had a nice variety, and all the staff were fantastic.

I stayed at the Larosa hotel several times on separate occasions. One time, the roof leaked, making one of us slip and fall, and soaking most of our clothes. When we raised it with staff, they seemed more concerned about the mini bar contents than our ruined clothes or safety. On a different stay, the room smelled of smoke and the blowdryer died again. The first time the blowdryer blew up while I was using it, giving me a slight shock and cutting the power to our room for 40 minutes. Thankfully, we were with other people and could take shelter in their room.
