Hanoi Little Town Hotel

The room was large, clean, and beautifully maintained. Check-in went smoothly, the hotel has an elevator, and the concierge helped carry our things upstairs. They offered several tour packages when we arrived, and we booked one that same evening. Toiletries and drinks were provided, though anything in the fridge cost extra. They take Visa and Mastercard with a 3% fee, but not AMEX. I'd suggest holding off on paying for a tour upfront in case your plans change. We paid $55 USD per person in advance, but I had a leg cramp and couldn't join, so we needed to reschedule at the last minute. My husband told the front desk by phone and in person early that morning. They said it was fine and didn't mention a fee. Later that afternoon, we were told there'd be another $25 CAD charge. Fortunately, my husband asked them to confirm the booking, since nobody had mentioned any fees that morning. We'd also been told we could request takeout for our tour. But when my husband asked the restaurant if we could have breakfast in our room because I couldn't walk properly, they said no and that we had to eat downstairs. Breakfast was included, but we ended up ordering food through Grab instead.

We stayed three nights just before lunar new year 2026. The staff were friendly, polite, and always willing to help, and the a la carte breakfast dishes were quite tasty even though there wasn't much on the buffet. Breakfast ran from 630 to 10, so there was enough time to go down, but the dining area was small and might not have a seat during the busy periods. The location was excellent, though new year traffic restrictions meant we had to walk a few minutes. My room had no real view, but I wasn't in it enough for that to bother me.

The 270 degree view from the penthouse was amazing, and breakfast was great. I'd really recommend the mango pancakes. The staff were friendly, helpful, and shared good recommendations. They even helped us book a table at a popular nearby restaurant. I was incredibly pleased with my stay at Hanoi little town hotel and will definitely come back.

The air conditioning wasn't very good, and we were uncomfortable at night. We also paid more at the hotel than the price quoted by the website, where we'd booked to pay on arrival. The hotel was well situated, and it could arrange airport transport both ways. Breakfast had a decent variety, and one receptionist was especially friendly and helpful. We asked to leave our luggage for a couple of days and were told it would be kept in a locked room. Instead, it was left on the stairway, which didn't seem secure. It was free, but if we'd known where it would be stored, we'd have kept it somewhere else.
