Hanoi Marvellous Hotel & Spa

Rosy and Lucas really made the stay feel special. They were always smiling and warm, checked in to see how things were going, and cared about whether we were enjoying our time in Hanoi. The Old Quarter location kept us close to the sights, restaurants, and bars. Our room was clean and well furnished, and breakfast was tasty, with hot pho available to order. Amazing hotel.

The staff were the best part of our stay. They were so kind and went out of their way to help us find places like train street and the tomb of Ho Chi Minh. We used the hotel as a base for visiting Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh, and also tried a spa massage, which was well done and fun. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and very nice. On our second stay we had a fabulous seventh-floor room with a balcony. Breakfast was free and delicious.

The hotel is easy to get around from, including on foot to train street and around the Old Quarter. The neighborhood is busy, but our room stayed quiet. Rooms were spacious and good quality, with free water and very cheap minibar items. Breakfast had a decent range, including made-to-order pho, pancakes or French toast, and eggs. Service was great, and for the price it was good value. It's clean and quiet, though not especially luxurious.

We could only book one night because of availability, but would have stayed for our whole visit if we could. There was construction across the street in April 2026, though it didn't really bother us. The rooms were spacious, modern, and clean, with a clean bathroom and a large rain shower. Breakfast was great, with fresh fruit and pretty decent pho, and there were lots of staff around to help. At checkout, a staff member helped check the room for anything we'd left and reminded us to double check that we had our passports. He was amazing.
