The owner is friendly and happy to chat if you want ideas for fun activities, and doesn’t pressure guests to leave reviews, so the Agoda reviews feel trustworthy. If a room is empty, you can check in early; if it’s still being cleaned, you can leave your luggage there. There are only two rooms per floor, so it feels much less cramped than hotels with four. The room was spacious and cleaned daily, and had a small balcony for smoking. The hotel is down an alley, but not far from the main road. There’s a laundry service nearby and plenty of places to eat, so you won’t have to worry about getting hungry. 👍 For Indonesian tourists planning a Vietnam trip, this budget hotel with meals is a good option, hehe.

The owner and manager, Peter, was the highlight. He quickly replaced a TV that wasn’t working properly, helped pay for laundry because they wouldn’t take international cards, and found us a scooter to rent. There are two laundry places right by the hotel, with plenty of restaurants and beer street just steps away. The hotel is on the main road, only a few steps from the main street, and has an elevator and a good breakfast. Our room was clean, with a great shower and a balcony overlooking the main alley. A good choice if you want a budget-friendly place with a convenient location and helpful service.

Right in the heart of the Old Quarter, this hotel is clean, roomy and really convenient. Hotel Manager Peter made the stay special. He had an answer for every question and sorted out whatever we needed quickly, at a very affordable price. It’s a lovely hotel that punches well above its weight.

We were in room 502, which was big and very clean, with a large, comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was probably one of the best we’ve had at any hotel, even compared with other premier hotel chains. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the lake.
