The host was really nice and responsive before we arrived. She met us with the key and showed us around. If anything had gone wrong, I’m sure she would have come quickly. It’s a good budget place for a short Hanoi stay, around 20-25 minutes from the old quarter. Be aware there are one to three steep flights of stairs depending on the room. A suitcase might be difficult; we carried our big backpacks down slowly, facing backwards. Our second floor room was okay. The bathroom was compact, but even though we’re both tall, we never had to duck. Hot water wasn’t a problem, though the sheets felt a little damp. There’s a small shared kitchen downstairs with a hob, air fryer, and large fridge.

The hosts were very kind, and our room was spotless, beautiful, and comfortable. There are bars and shops around in a lovely area. It’s about a 30 minute walk to the old quarter, but I still really liked the neighborhood. I’d highly recommend staying here.

For $16, don’t expect luxury level cleanliness, but the location is good. Look for number 44 on the wall and ask locals if needed. The owner was so nice to us, and the best part for me was having no drunk, noisy people in the hallway. We were alone there, and all the doors locked properly. The first time, getting up to the 4th floor was hard, but after that we just used the side of the stairs. There’s also a table for a laptop in the room, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly fast. Compared with other places at the same price, I’d use this place again if I came back to the area. I recommend it. Thanks 🙏🏼

The owner was lovely and even charged a very reasonable amount for an extra hour. The room was airy, clean, and smelled nice, with huge windows. I booked at a reasonable price, and for somewhere in the Old Quarter, I thought it was really good value. I hadn’t expected much when I booked, but was pleasantly surprised by how cool it was inside. I visited in summer, and the temperature indoors and outdoors felt like two different worlds. You should definitely give it a try!
