We only got here a few hours ago. The room is clean, the shower is hot, and the bed is soft. I’ll update this before we leave.

The room was dirty, with mosquitoes and a little spider up on the ceiling. The power switch was unreliable too, when several plugs were in use, the power went off. There was no toilet paper holder, and the shower door wouldn’t close. The service staff were friendly and patient, though.

Millenium Hotel feels a bit like a small apartment, with only two rooms on my floor. It’s near train street and lots of food stalls and restaurants, so it worked well for budget travel in Hanoi. My family room for four was clean and spacious, and check-in and check-out were easy. It might help to print your booking order so you don’t run into any difficulties. We got four bottled waters a day, and could ask to have the room cleaned while we were out sightseeing.

I had a really pleasant four-night stay. The hotel is about 200 metres from train street and a little away from the old quarter, which suited me, though I can’t speak for everyone. I’d recommend it.
