Huy Hoang Airport Hotel

The staff member was kind and could speak English, and the hotel is near the airport. He welcomed me when I checked in late at midnight, handled my early 5 a.m. checkout, and drove me to the airport for 80,000vnd. The room was also the cheapest in the area.

I arrived at the hotel at 5 a.m. after a delayed flight, waiting for my checked bag, and taking a taxi. My flight to Hanoi had shifted from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., and I’d told the hotel about the delay and where I was flying from. Even though I’d booked and paid in advance, they said they’d already given the room to someone else. I lost my money unfairly. Don’t support this scam of a hotel.

I booked online four days before arriving, but when I got there at 7 p.m. with nowhere else to stay, they told me I’d canceled. They didn’t offer another room. It felt like a pretty brutal scam.

We walked to the airport to catch the airport bus. The room was clean and nice, the bed was cozy, and the price was cheap.
