The location was excellent, and our room, bed, and bathroom had all the essentials and were in very good shape. The room was kept clean, and the host shared useful nearby restaurant suggestions. He was kind and attentive the whole time, checking in with us about arrival and letting us come early when we got there ahead of schedule. He seemed to anticipate what we might need and helped before we had to ask. After checkout, he also let us leave our bags in the common area and use the shared bathroom, which came in handy.

For a private room for two, the price is hard to beat. The room and bathroom were cozy and really clean, with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and bottled water provided. The service was great too. They helped me work out the airport bus, then even took me by motorbike to the bus stop.

Hoanh and his family made my stay at Khai Homestay feel very welcoming. I arrived early, and they arranged an early check-in with warm, clear communication. I had a few errands to sort out during the stay, and Hoanh gave me straightforward advice each time. His English made things easy since my Vietnamese isn't very good. The building has an older charm and a few stairs up to the rooms. It's centrally located, the rooms are thoughtfully equipped, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was cleaned after every use. I'm grateful I stayed here, and I wish Hoanh and his family all the best.

Mr. Hoanh and his wife were the best part of my stay. They replied quickly on Whatsapp whenever I had a question. When I mentioned my stomach hurt, Mr. Hoanh brought me lotus tea and filled a bottle with hot water. He also helped with my luggage when I arrived and pointed me toward places to get cash and find food. The place is right in the old quarter beside Dong Xuan market, with ATMs and cafés nearby. It sits down a small alley, but they send photos, and it's just about a minute's walk in. For 900+ pesos a night, I thought a private room was great value. They gave me one with its own bathroom, which I really appreciated as a woman traveling alone. The room had cotton pads, cotton buds, a blower, and other basic hotel items. There was a desk with good lighting, aircon and electric fans, and hot water.

The couple who run the place work incredibly hard, and you can see the care they put into the small details. The host was so helpful that it felt like he knew what I needed before I asked. I've rarely had hospitality this warm and effortless. Big thanks to both of them, this felt like a 10-star stay for service.
