They quoted 450k but charged 500k for a stay from 2 AM to 7 AM, which comes to 100k an hour. The room had the basics, though everything was old and worn. For that quality, the price felt too high.

It's cold in Hanoi now, but there are hotels near the center with hot water, so that's okay. Old, rundown rooms are okay too, as long as they're not too dirty.

The rooms were run-down and the staff were decent. The owner, though, kept coming up with excuses to demand extra money. They were a real extortionist.

At 500k VND a night, the service is worse than a 200k VND guesthouse. The rooms are old and the bathroom is dirty. Please read the reviews and avoid this guesthouse.

The service was terrible. They canceled the reservation at the last minute without regard for whether the guest had already booked somewhere else.
