The worst part was coming back at 1:30 AM to find the door locked. No one had warned me or reminded me at the front desk. I called the hotel numbers, but nobody picked up, and ringing the bell got no response either, so I had to find somewhere else to rest. I was really disappointed. I’d booked through Agoda at a discount for about 400k VND/night, and called to confirm there was a room and ask about check-in. Agoda listed 5 PM, but when I asked the staff about arriving earlier, they said 2 PM was fine. I showed up at 1:45 PM, and the front desk said early check-in would cost another 100k VND. I was too lazy to look for another room, so I agreed. My room was on the 4th floor, and there was no elevator.

We booked ahead, but my boyfriend and I still had to wait a full two hours when we got there. It was really annoying.

The area was quiet and parking was free. The room was okay, though old, with no refrigerator and poor soundproofing on the door.
