The room had a lake view and an open bathtub, but it smelled damp for the whole stay. The shower and toilet area smelled damp too, and there seemed to be black mold around the sink. The blind barely kept out the light, and the windows did little to block the sound. The street was still busy close to 2 a.m. Good luck getting any sleep.

The view was lovely, but the place feels very old. The water pressure was extremely weak and kept cutting out. Sadly, I won't be coming back.

The rooms were clean, and the housekeeper was really sweet. The location worked well, and the staff were kind, especially when they moved me to the seventh floor after I complained about the noise. I slept a little better there, though there was still always some sound to disturb me. On the second floor, I was woken every day at 7:30 AM by grandpas yelling in their language in the courtyard. Lower floors also get a lot of noise from outside and the courtyard, so if you book a standard room down there, be ready for poor sleep. For the price, you can't expect more, but you can't expect less either.

The location suited me: quiet, but still not too far from the old town. For this price, I thought the view was worth it, and the mattress was one of the best I've slept on. The two women at reception and the maid were also very sweet and helpful. A few things could use attention, some of which I already mentioned to the receptionist. The WiFi signal was poor on the seventh floor, and the shower pod set should be changed. It would also be good to separate the wet and dry areas in the toilet. The stains on the glass need a proper clean so it looks like the picture on the website.
