Pegasy Apartments & Travel

The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the neighborhood made it easy to get to shops. Westlake Lotte Mall is only a short Grab ride away. Our room felt more like a big studio apartment, with a washing machine and kitchen area, and it was spotless. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure, and there was plenty of hot water.

Once I finally had the room I’d reserved at Pearl Hotel, the clean room, breakfast, and lovely lake view were all great. But check-in took nearly an hour, and I still don’t understand what happened. I’d booked a room with breakfast and a lake view, then was told my original room had been “fixed” and wasn’t available. The receptionist offered another Pegasy apartment nearby across the street by the West Lake walkway, but it had no lake view or restaurant. He said he could “treat me to breakfast” if I stayed there. I turned that down because breakfast and the view were both part of what I had booked. In the end, he arranged the proper room for me at Pearl Hotel.

We had a very pleasant one-night stay at Pegasy Apartments, the best we had in Hanoi. The reception staff were excellent and happy to help with whatever we needed. Everything was clean and in good shape, and the kitchen came in handy for cooking. We also had hot water whenever we wanted a shower. The price matched what we got, and I’d recommend it.

The receptionists were lovely and really attentive during our family’s four days at the hotel. They helped us plan outings and shared tips on good, inexpensive places to eat. The space was quiet, and everything from our room to the reception hall was clean. For the service and what they provided, it felt worth the money. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in Hanoi.
