Lavender Central Hotel & Spa

The room was small but clean, and the AC worked well. After I’d checked out and headed to the airport, I realized I’d left an external battery behind. The staff texted me and arranged for a driver to bring it there. It all worked out, and I was so grateful they went above and beyond.

I run a travel company focused on photography tours and work with photographers and their families from around the world. On our recent stay at 39 Hàng Bạc Hotel, the team’s warmth and professionalism really stood out. From reception to the people helping with luggage, the small gestures showed care and understanding, and they made both guests and partners feel welcome and respected. The staff were incredibly friendly, and we really appreciated the neighborhood map they gave us with things to do and restaurants to try. Our room was comfortable, the breakfast buffet had a good selection, and the service was impeccable. After our stay, we went to Ha Long Bay, and they let us leave a bag overnight so we didn’t have to take it along on the bus and ship. We stayed at the Lavender while in Hanoi and were very glad we did.

We slept well despite the busy, noisy Old Quarter. The honking wasn’t very noticeable inside our city-view room. The hotel’s in the very center, so the location couldn’t be better, and the rooms were nice. Staff were friendly, helpful, and very available to arrange earlier or later check-in and check-out when possible. There’s a decent breakfast and massage facilities too. Recommended!
