They told us a room would cost $6. We asked four times whether that covered one or two people, and they said it was for both of us. But when we went to leave, the price had somehow doubled. The man then became aggressive and violent, and I felt very intimidated. DO NOT STAY HERE, THEY WILL TRY TO CON YOU!
The service was nice.
The musty smell made this a really poor place to stay. Without it, the hostel would have been decent for a short visit. The staff were very friendly, and the facilities had everything needed.
The bathroom had no light, and the blankets and pillows weren't clean. The room itself was old and run-down, and the air conditioner didn't work properly.
It was clean and handy for getting to the Old Quarter, while costing about half as much as accommodation there.
