Being right at Lotte Mall is hard to beat, with restaurants like pizza 4P and LCLC plus a grocery store. The location also works well as a tourist base, far enough from the old quarter for some quiet but close enough to get around, and not too far from Tay Ho either. Breakfast is good, though pretty standard. The hotel itself has great service, spotless rooms, excellent A/C that matters in Hanoi summer, and a superb gym with several barbells and smith machines.

We first came in 2016 and returned in 2026. The hotel has a supermarket and mall in the complex, and the clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff made another nice stay. At the lounge, Hieu remembered our favorite drink and was always smiling and helpful. The other lounge staff were professional and friendly too. Djong at the entrance reception was also a big help. The pool was heated in January, so swimming was comfortable. The level 7 gym, sauna, and onsen pool were all well kept and enjoyable. The lift setup took some getting used to, with two banks and a need to remember which one served our room. Thanks, Lotte hotel.

We felt looked after from the moment we arrived. Every staff member was warm, respectful, professional, and attentive, and we felt valued rather than just like guests. The hotel was peaceful, elegant, and very well organized, with cleanliness and upkeep that were impressive down to the details. We were thrilled with our stay at Lotte Hotel Hanoi and would return without hesitation. It felt like a dream, and we'd absolutely recommend it. Thank you for such a memorable visit.

The indoor smoking in the bar spoiled both evenings for us. The music, singer, and drinks were great, but other guests smoking inside made it hard to enjoy, and there should be a separate smoking room or area. Apart from that, we had a lovely stay. Breakfast was great, everything was very clean, and I appreciated the thoughtful air purifier in the room for pollution.

The night view from the 51st floor was stunning, and the rooms are very spacious. There's a lot on site, including a mall with luxury brands such as Chanel, Prada, and Dyson, as well as a supermarket. The bathroom hair products were high quality, and I'd never seen a smart WC like that before.
