My Way Hotel & Residence

I called to ask about booking a room and was told to use my Zalo account for a consultation. I said no because I just wanted the price quickly. The staff member raised his voice to ask what date I'd stay. I was taken aback by that attitude and asked again, but he repeated the question three times without giving me time to answer, then hung up. I'll never be able to stay at this hotel. Definitely the worst service ever.

I felt safe here as a solo woman traveler, thanks in part to the very helpful staff. Mr. Chien was especially helpful. I stayed three nights and would book again for sure. They handled my extra requests quickly, kept everything top notch clean, and offered free laundry, Japanese food, a rich winery, and lots of breakfast buffet options. There were also airport pick up and drop off, complementary services on request, and no extra charges for anything. Their business policy seems geared toward attracting and keeping customers. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. I'll 100% book here again on my next visit to Vietnam.

I'm three days into a six day stay, and so far it's been an excellent experience. The room is quite large for a city this big, very clean, and has a spotless bathroom with modern fixtures. Something this size in Manhattan would cost 20 times more. After about 19h of travel from the US, I arrived early on a hot Sunday, before check in time, and was worried I'd have to wait. The receptionist welcomed me with a smile and some cold juice, and there was no problem checking in early. They didn't charge me extra for it. The staff greet me with a smile day or night and are very friendly. The complementary breakfast is among the best I've had on my international work trips. Each morning the buffet has fresh fruit, salad, bread, cereal, yogurt, and more. Eggs are cooked fresh to order, and they've also made a fresh noodle dish, ramen, while I've been here.

The hair dryer cord was faulty, and the bathroom only had a small bottle of body wash and shampoo, not enough for two people. At check in, the front desk didn't clearly explain the hotel policies. Then at 11 p.m. they called and woke us, asking us to come downstairs and pay more money. Worst hotel I've stayed at in Hanoi.
