The courtyard-facing suite was peaceful, and the room was clean to the standard I'd expect for the price. Staff were friendly and kept in touch in case I wanted them to arrange any free tours. They also handled my laundry and stored my luggage while I went on an overnight hike in Sapa region. It's quieter than other places I've stayed in Hanoi, both inside and outside, though the city's loudspeaker announcements can still wake you, as they did in other districts where I stayed. The entrance is in a quiet alley where locals hang out at small restaurants. There are parks at either end of the alley, along with cool restaurants and designer shops. I had a good stay at Opera House Suites and would choose it again.

The receptionist was really nice and friendly, and there is an elevator in the building. Our room was small but clean and had AC. Opera House Suites is well located, and I especially liked the street with its authentic local food.

I made a booking several weeks ahead, then the room was cancelled just four days before my trip, with no explanation. I checked the Agoda app I had booked through, and the same room was still listed, but for twice the price. If honesty matters to you, I wouldn't book here.

My room was compact and clean, and even had a balcony. The staff took the time to show me how everything worked instead of assuming I knew. They answered all my questions and even encouraged me to drink more H2O 😊

The location is excellent, right in front of the Opera of Hanoi, so it's perfect for visiting. The staff really make a difference: very welcoming, kind, and ready to help or greet you.
