The room and hallway both had a sewage-like smell, and the beds weren’t especially comfortable, though they weren’t awful. The staff were very friendly and otherwise everything was okay.

I only needed a night in Hanoi after a late flight, before taking transport to Cat Ba the next morning. This was the cheapest place I found near the airport. It’s on a main road, and there’s a pizza place nearby for a late meal. I was travelling alone as a woman, and with only two rooms occupied I didn’t feel completely safe, though I think that was my own anxiety. The front desk was staffed all night, with the man sleeping on the couch. I left early and didn’t try breakfast. The location was okay and it was an acceptable affordable stay, just not as luxurious as the name suggests.

Really cheap, with a great location for getting around because it’s so close to the airport. The staff were amazing. Best hotel!

The room was fine and the staff were friendly, but I wouldn’t pay for breakfast here. It was just eggs made by the reception staff and instant coffee. You can find a cheaper breakfast and coffee within walking distance.
