The room was old, and dust covered the floor. I stayed three days and got no cleaning, fresh towels, or refills of water or paper. In fact, they didn't offer complimentary mineral water at the start either. The staff were friendly in general, but I had the bad luck of dealing with one extremely rude person who ruined my mood during the stay. She was irresponsible and charged us a nonsensical fee. When I asked what it was for, she just said, “I dunno” 🙂
We got a discounted rate, and for that price the place was acceptable. If we'd paid full price, my review would be much lower. We were redirected on arrival to another building across the alley, not the one shown in the Agoda listing, which caught us off guard. They did let us check in early, though. The building is old, but the room was fairly clean. There was also a dog in the neighboring building that barked loudly whenever a motorcycle went by in the alley. We only used the room from noon until 10 pm before our 2 pm flight. For that purpose and discounted price, it did the job.
A little tucked away from the city center, this hotel is a gem. The staff are fantastic, and there's a free massage, though you must tip.
It's a new hotel at a good price. The staff are really nice and friendly, and it was worth every cent. Highly recommend.
