S79 Duc Hieu Airport Hotel

I never actually stayed here. I booked well in advance through booking, com, but there were so many problems that it all started to feel suspicious, so we cancelled. I’ve added screenshots of our conversations with the hotel. I’ve also seen booking, com reviews from people who arrived after booking well ahead and were told there was no room. Avoid this hotel like the plague!

The toilet stopped working that evening, so I couldn’t use it. I arrived at 8:45pm with a booking, but they had no card machine and wouldn’t let me into my room. After 20 minutes, a man came and told me to get in his car so we could go pay. I’m in a foreign country, so of course I wouldn’t get into a stranger’s car. I refused, got frustrated, and we agreed to meet in the lobby at 7:30am. Then at 6am they came banging hard on my door for payment before I’d even had a chance to get dressed. This is the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever been to. Please don’t go there. Pay a little more and stay somewhere better.

The rooms were dirty, the staff rude, and it was the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I could hear every sound because the rooms are badly insulated. It seemed like sex workers were using the hotel for their services. I have no idea how Agoda can list a place like this.

Google Maps shows the hotel in a completely different location. You should check the exact location with the hotel.
