The dorm bathroom is convenient, but if someone is showering, you can't use the toilet. The beds are extremely hard and the pillows very soft. There's no soap, unlike at other hostels, and there's no breakfast. The only social spot is outdoors on the roof, a long climb up, and there's nowhere to sit while changing from sandals to shoes. The location is good but hard to find, and the hostel feels a bit pricey. Whoever designed it hasn't stayed in a hostel.
The facilities seem to have been neglected for years, and the building, room, and service were all ridiculous. Dust and dirt everywhere. This homestay should be closed and renovated. For now, the best deal is $10 a night plus 2.5 Bia Hanoi. Run away!
The beds were a little hard, but fine. The place was clean and well located near the Old Quarter and water Puppet Show. Each bed had an electric socket, a light, and a curtain.
So, so hard to find! 👀👀👀
The staff were great and helped us figure out transportation. The hostel was very clean, affordable, and perfectly located in the old town.
