ZARA L.
After staying here for over a year, and even introducing friends to the place, I can say the apartment looked like a good deal at first: spacious, lots of storage, equipped, and a decent price. But the service wasn’t really there, and the experience got worse over time. I’m not sure if A22 still manages this place along with the other buildings. If it does, you failed me this time. Worst. The biggest ongoing issue was the building work. They drilled and pounded whenever they wanted, sometimes too early in the morning, on weekdays, weekends, and even holidays, with no notice. Complaints got no response for at least 24 hours. The noise disrupted work calls and daily comfort. Neighbors on our floor had the same problems, and we’d run into each other at local cafes at almost any time of day, knowing exactly why we were away from a rental we should have been able to use. There were also five leaks in our bathroom ceiling during heavy rain, even though our unit was on a middle floor. Water from the shower wouldn’t drain until the next morning, so we had to push it away with a squeegee. The weekly cleaning wasn’t much of a service either. The cleaner came every week, but I’m not sure she cleaned anything. We only asked her to clean the bathroom, since we have a robot vacuum and aren’t hoarders. She did a little, messed up the toiletries, and left things around as if to show she’d been there. We had to tidy up after every visit, which is why we eventually asked her not to come back and decided to do it ourselves. The bathroom smelled unpleasantly of mold and damp after she left. We weren’t asking for too much, just the bare minimum they said they offered. One neighbor even had a little pond of water in her washing tub and thought she’d probably end up eating out rather than doing the dishes.
