The Harmony Red River Residence

We paid 882,000 VND a night for a room booked for four, and the cleanliness, equipment and service weren't acceptable for that price. There were ants on the floor, the flooring was dirty, and the room smelled unpleasant. The kitchen exhaust fan was there but couldn't be used because its duct was damaged. We arrived to find no towels or toilet paper, just one pair of indoor slippers for four people, and only one bottle of drinking water at first. There was no kitchen trash bin or hand soap either. When we phoned the support number at night, someone picked up but didn't help. We raised everything with the receptionist at checkout and got an apology, but no fix or goodwill adjustment. We were told the payment had already gone to accounting and nothing could be done. I hope management reviews its procedures and quality control so future guests get the service they expect.

The location isn't ideal, but the price is hard to beat. Our two-bedroom apartment was lovely, with good beds, roomy bedrooms and balconies. It's a brand new building, and I don't understand why it only has three stars instead of four. The staff were lovely and helpful. I'd highly recommend it and will come back.

I spent a week here. It's a little far from the center, and Grab drivers sometimes leave you farther away than expected because their cars can't fit down the road. I took off a star because I was charged for something I hadn't used, though I didn't feel like complaining. If you stay, take a photo of the fridge when you check in.
