I left and booked another hotel with a better deal after a really bad stay at Tigon Hotel - 148 Nguyễn Chánh. They'd approved my request for a higher floor with an open view, but gave me a blocked window facing a wall. There was no water in the room at check-in, so I had to order it and pay. The floor by the entrance door was broken and unsafe. The service was awful. Avoid this place if you care about your money and experience.

A quiet, clean, tidy, minimal place at a reasonable price, and it worked well for a business trip. The ads on their homepage include breakfast and laundry, but neither was included. This area is private and full of construction sites and KTV restaurants, so it's not suitable for going out at night. There are lots of workers, gangs, and young people around, so be careful if you're alone, especially women. You'll want a specific way to get to the centre, like a cab or motorbike. It's 10km from the centre.
