Tomodachi Retreat - Làng Mít

The lake views are great, and the whole place is incredibly relaxing. Staff were all friendly and ready to help. The food was decent, and the solarium sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi were clean and refreshing. A great spot for an overnight stay.

The nicest part was the nature around the property and the balcony view. The rest left us disappointed. This retreat doesn’t feel like one anymore: music was blasting from a loudspeaker across the river, while people at the villa opposite were singing karaoke. We were trying to rest in all that noise. The resort felt poorly managed and too expensive for the quality. The so-called infinity pool has just three sun benches for all the guests, and the deck floor is deteriorating, with holes that need repair. When we arrived, the pool was full of children on a school field trip, according to the receptionist, so swimming wasn’t possible. Luckily they went to lunch soon, and we got some quiet time by the pool. But the rooms aren’t soundproof, and you can hear other guests from inside. The restaurant food was average. There was no salt or pepper on the tables, and the table setup was odd. Our bed linen was worn, and there was dust in the corners. With the right manager this could be a lovely place, but right now they seem focused on promotion without making improvements. It was overpriced and disappointing 😢

We spent an afternoon kayaking during our weekend night here. The atmosphere felt just right, and it was peaceful and tranquil. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast had lots of choices and was delicious. The resort was easy to find by following the Google map directions.

A calm, pleasant retreat with fresh air all around. The traditional food was good.
