It was alright.

The air conditioning barely cooled the room, and after staff went in to clean, they left the food we had left behind. We had booked for around 10 days, yet every couple of days they kept pressing us for payment and said they might not let us stay if we didn't pay. The service was pretty bad.
The service was good, and the rooms were nice. Definitely worth visiting.
They advertised it at 220k but charged us 350k. The toilets smelled awful, and none of the lights worked. The place felt like a slum. A truly horrible experience.
The air conditioner rattled loudly all night, so I couldn't sleep. In the morning, my companion said the tooth-brushing water seemed like it had been scooped from a sewer, though she was too shocked to take a photo. The rooms were filthy and missing amenities, as the photos show. The worst part was the pricing: they quoted 600,000 VND for a two-bed room from 2 PM one day to noon the next, a rate comparable to a three-star hotel with breakfast. The rate quoted to out-of-town guests didn't match the list on the door. When we asked, staff said that list was for a single room and explained they charged by the hour. But I had booked for 2 PM, told staff I'd arrive late because of work, and checked in at 8 PM. They still charged for the hours before I arrived. I can't believe a place like this is still operating in the heart of Hanoi.
