Victor Hotel Cau Giay

The breakfast was poor. The Phở had none of the usual Phở flavor, just watery broth with a little E621(Natrium hydrogen glutamate), and the only bread was a sweet sandwich roll. The restroom, especially inside the shower, could also have been cleaner. For a 4 🌟 hotel, that’s a no go.

The good points were the convenient drop-off area, the location, and clean bedsheets. Breakfast was over by 9:15 and completely cleared away at 10. My room smelled of smoke, and they tried to keep my passport as a security deposit. I paid by credit card instead.

I stayed here on a business trip and felt right at home. My room was tidy and clean, with a soft bed, and the cleaner was friendly and always smiling. She didn’t understand much English, but did a great job. The staff were warm and willing to help, and shared useful local tips. I liked the flats with kitchens and balconies overlooking the city. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the place for both the accommodation and the experience with the staff.

The area has plenty of lunch options, parking, and a central spot in Cau Giay, so it’s convenient for conferences if you arrive early. But it gets very busy and traffic jams are common.
