Viet Hotel

The neighborhood isn’t attractive or entertaining, so I wouldn’t plan to spend much time there. It makes more sense to enjoy downtown Hanoi, then check in later for a relaxing evening before an early flight. There are a couple of restaurants or small shops nearby, which is convenient. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and roomy. We had an 8:00am flight, and the staff arranged a car to pick us up at 5:30am. They also prepared sandwiches since it was too early for us to get breakfast. Good hotel and good service.

Our twin room was clean, stylish, and really affordable, and the owner gave us amazing, hospitable service. We celebrated the lunar new year with the host and got to meet much of his family. It was such a warm welcome to Vietnam, perhaps the highlight of our month-long trip. A perfect place to begin our stay here. Thank you! 🙏❤️

We only stayed one night while traveling from Sa Pa to Saigon, but it was a lovely stop. Henry even had his driver take us to the airport for free, so I’d highly recommend the hotel to anyone passing through the airport area. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing for the price. There was a big spread, plus they cooked eggs exactly how we liked them.

For our final night in Hanoi, staying near the airport was convenient, though I wouldn’t choose this spot for the neighborhood or things to do. The staff were helpful, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We had a home-cooked Vietnamese dinner and a free ride to the airport. Food, three beers, and the stay for two came to under $35. It’s not a 5* hotel, but we had an excellent stay.
