The front desk staff were lovely. My room had recently been renovated, and it was clean and modern. I paid around 600k a night, which seemed fair to me.

The room and location were fine, but the room service was pretty poor. I stayed for two weeks and twice my laundry was still there when I got back, despite asking for it to be done. Reception said they’d told the housekeeper and she may have forgotten. When I spoke to her, she said I should have told reception. I’m not sure who was responsible, but both times I got the same explanation from the two people I asked. The clothes smelled awful after washing. I couldn’t detect any soap even with my nose close to them, while the hotel towels smelled wonderfully fresh. That’s puzzling. Maybe they’re trying to save a few thousand dong on fabric softener? I paid for laundry, and the fee was sky-high. I’ve stayed in many hotels while traveling for work, and this was a first for me.
