The studio was excellent and well equipped, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The bed was large and comfy, and the little kitchen area came in handy. It’s compact, though, and I’m glad I was alone. With lots of luggage, it would’ve felt cramped for a couple. There’s no lift, and hauling bags up the steep front steps was hard, but the lobby staff came to help as soon as they saw me. The neighborhood is quiet, with not much going on, though ordering Grab food was easy. I missed breakfast while trying to catch up on sleep, and it took me a while to find somewhere decent nearby to eat. I did find a great Japanese place less than five minutes away. Good value. I’d have rated the stay higher if I hadn’t been woken early by very loud drilling. I’d arrived on an evening flight, got to bed late after struggling to enter the address in Grab, and was already exhausted from a tour in Cambodia, so I’d really looked forward to sleeping in. Gutted.

I thought it was closed, but it had only recently reopened. The location is a little far from HQ, though I could walk near Westlake in the morning. It’s also close to a bus stop and quite convenient. The place offers a luxury room and services at a cheap price. My room had a stove and cooking supplies, which made it easier to prepare halal food myself while fasting during Ramadan on my March visit.

The lake nearby gives you some beautiful views, and the neighborhood is relatively quiet, with plenty of street food and shops. It takes about a 45-minute walk to reach the old quarters, or 10 minutes by Grab bike. The rooms were spotless and beautiful, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it.

They’re still accepting bookings even though the hotel is closed, so don’t book here. Even if it opens again, I’d think twice, since this says a lot about how responsible they are.

Son provided excellent customer service and is a really great guy with outstanding communication skills. The rooms are ultra clean, and the neighborhood is quiet. It’s a good option, with cheap and fast Grab rides to downtown.
