The kettle and bedsheets were dirty, and the shower was weak and very close to the toilet bowl. The fridge didn't work; when we told the receptionist, he said to use the one in the common lobby. Breakfast was very basic, but decent.

I booked a reservation here through Agoda, but they wouldn't honor it. They said it was for an hourly stay, not the nightly rate shown on Agoda. The receptionist had a bad attitude about the whole situation. I don't recommend staying here.

Be careful when you book, and check the private messages afterward. I booked one day at the hotel on book.com. After the booking was confirmed, the hotel messaged to say the room rental was for 2 hours; for a 1 night stay, the price would be higher.

The advertised $21aud per night with breakfast included? The price is for 2hrs only, not overnight, and another review says the same thing. It's a scam.

The room was very clean and the staff were lovely. It's around a 20 minute drive from the old quarter, and much quieter than the city in Hanoi. Walking street, an ATM, and coffee shops are a short distance away.
