102sqm WOODEN APT with 2BR in Ben Thanh

We arrived at 10 p.m. with two children and decided to cancel as soon as we got there, even though it was very late. The street was rough, extremely noisy, and taxis wouldn’t go to the address, so it seemed impossible to sleep there even with the best soundproofing. There are three floors, no elevator, and no signs. The person who answered the phone was incredibly rude and obnoxious. She even disrespected me in a text, and that’s putting it politely. I’ve traveled all over the world, and I’d avoid this hotel at all costs.

The landlord was really rude, and the place was terrible. The staircase felt dangerous, and with no elevator you had to climb two flights of stairs. There was no water in the toilets, the TV couldn’t be used, and the cupboard door fell off before I even touched it. Don’t rent here.

On check-in day, the owner told my team the property had been temporarily closed for a month. This was after our group of 11 had received a room confirmation from Booking.com and spoken with the owner by phone about the details. Why didn’t they tell us during that conversation? It completely disrupted our plans. Truly disappointing.
