Adora Art Hotel

We could check in early after nearly 24 hours of travel, and the staff were lovely and helpful from the very start. Breakfast was amazing, with a couple of European options too. The rooftop bar has a fantastic view and is a relaxing place to spend the evening. The location in district 1 puts almost everything right nearby. I think the negative reviews are doing them a disservice. We stayed for 2 nights and everything was perfect.

The view from the rooftop bar was stunning, and breakfast was great. As a basic place to sleep, the hotel worked fairly well, and the location is perfect. But a lot of the rest didn’t work for us four senior adults. You could only buy wine by the bottle, and no one on staff knew about the grape varieties. We had one very good Australian Chardonnay, then they ran out of white wine. Nobody could tell us anything about the reds either. The food was plain, simple, and colorless. There are no restrooms by the pool below the rooftop bar, so in a wet swimsuit you have to go up one floor to the bar. Some of the logistics just don’t make sense. And as others have said, the room walls are very thin.

The rooftop was a favorite, and we liked the room and the location too. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff made our little family feel very welcome, including our baby. Breakfast wasn’t my favorite, though there was quite a lot to choose from. I loved our stay!

The location makes it easy to explore the city center, with everything close by. It can feel a little seedy in the evenings, though. Compared with the other four-star hotels we stayed at during our Vietnam trip, this one needs some investment. The walls are thin and breakfast is average. I’d recommend it for a short stay. For more than a couple of nights, I’d look at more comfortable options.
