Airstar Hotel & Apartment

I spent one night in a double deluxe room and was impressed. It was very clean, with hot water and good pressure in the shower. They provided bathrobes, slippers, shampoo, body wash, and hand wash. The front desk was pleasant and helpful. I've stayed at plenty of hotels, and for the price this one ranks near the top. I'll definitely return.

I had a two-day stopover in Ho Chi Minh City and wanted somewhere near the airport before my early flight. This worked well, with a free shuttle, though the earliest one leaves at 6am, so you'll need to get yourself there if you need to arrive earlier. My room initially smelled a bit smoky, but the smell cleared after I turned on the AC. I think most rooms don't have outward-facing windows. Mine had a small interior window I could open for air. Service was adequate, nothing special. The bathroom is nice, though its layout could make someone trip if they aren't careful. The room had a small fridge, bathrobes, slippers, and a hair dryer, but no iron. My main gripe was the outlets. They're in the middle of the bed by the pillows, laid out horizontally, rather than near the bed and out of the way. A pillow can press on them and make whatever you've plugged in fall out.

We were so relieved to find this hotel after a terrible stay at another place in the area for the same price. Reception were incredibly helpful and let us check in early. The room was great, with lots of space, a big comfortable bed, good AC, a good bathroom, and a pleasant smell. We even liked that the lights can change colors to suit your taste. There's also a free airport shuttle. We've tried a couple of hotels in Ho Chi Minh, and this was easily our best experience. Five stars 🌟

The hotel is tucked just off the main street, away from the traffic, and it's very quiet. There are plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend it and stay again on my next visit.
