We never stayed overnight, but used their luggage storage through Bounce because the location was convenient. The staff's kindness really stayed with us. When our Grab drivers kept canceling and we couldn't speak Vietnamese, one of them used my friend's phone to talk to the driver without hesitation. They carried our heavy bags outside and held umbrellas over us, getting soaked themselves. Even though we weren't overnight guests, they looked after us like family. Completely trustworthy, so helpful, and truly kind. That kind of care stays with you after the trip.

The staff tried to help, but seemed to have no authority or support and were left dealing with management I found dishonest and unprofessional. The owner never came to speak with me face-to-face. I took several photos of the room and recorded the conversation with the owner and staff, so I have documentation. I arrived late on the 31st after a long journey. The room was filthy: pubic hairs on the bed, sticky soda across the cupboards and floor, dust everywhere, and a disgusting sticky floor. It was among the dirtiest rooms I've seen. I told staff, who first said they'd clean it. When I explained how unhygienic it was and asked for another room, they called the owner. After that call, they suddenly said I couldn't stay because my visa “ended” the next day, even though I'd already checked in. It said “valid until the 1st,” which I understood to mean I could legally stay in Vietnam all that day. A well-regarded lawyer friend in Ho Chi Minh City later confirmed that, and said there are no laws preventing hotels from accepting guests on their final visa day. The owner repeated the visa explanation on the phone instead of addressing the room. It felt like that excuse only came after I complained about its condition. After a while, when it seemed clear I was unhappy and might leave a review, they changed their story and said I could stay if I canceled the booking and paid cash off the platform. That was unacceptable. I asked them to cancel from their side so I wouldn't lose my money. They took a long time, repeatedly saying they hadn't received my request even though I sent it to their business WhatsApp and through the booking platform. Only after considerable pressure did they confirm cancellation and refund. To summarize: my visa was fully valid, the room was filthy and unhygienic, and the excuses began after I complained. The owner tried to push a cash deal off-platform, delayed the refund approval, and hid from speaking to me directly. Avoid this hotel. There are plenty of clean, respectful hotels in HCMC. I would be very embarrassed to run a business this way.

They don't seem to understand what a review is for 😂 This isn't a 3-star hotel. The lobby and room were dirty, and the aircon wasn't cold enough, so they gave us a fan to compensate. Service was awful. If you want a comfortable stay in vietnam, I suggest you don't book this room 😂

The neighborhood was quiet at night, so I slept really well. There are lots of good local places to eat nearby, too. I was very happy with my stay: the room was clean, spacious, and even better than the photos. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. They carried my luggage and responded quickly whenever I asked for something. Book early, especially for weekends, since prices can get pretty high closer to the date.
