There are food and shopping options everywhere as soon as you step outside, plus nightlife if that's your thing. Being in the koreatown area, there are loads of great cheap places to eat, though I still liked having the kitchen area in the entryway, desk, small fridge, microwave, and stove for reheating leftovers. The cleaning lady was available to tidy the room each morning. I booked at the last minute and really enjoyed the stay. I'd read earlier reviews about rooms not being available and was hesitant, so I messaged Anna at the number listed on Google through WhatsApp. She replied quickly, was very respectful, and confirmed things. Mix-ups happen, and I'm happy to say my stay was wonderful. I liked it enough to ask about monthly rates for an extended stay, and they seemed very reasonable for the location and amenities. Highly recommended!

We had a reservation and contacted the hotel ahead of time, but never heard that there were no rooms available. When we arrived, they told us there was no room. The service was the worst.
I really wanted to like this hotel. The area was very clean, safe, and quiet, with plenty to do and eat around Korea town. There were also two malls and a skywalk with several shops and cafes. Anna, the owner, replied quickly and helped arrange a driver from the airport. Daily room cleaning, fresh towels, and toiletries made the place feel like a real hotel. Two women did the cleaning; the older one was helpful and did a great job. During Tet she took time off to celebrate, and a younger woman covered for the last few days of our stay. The problems came near the end. We put the sign on our door asking staff not to service the room, then went out to celebrate Tet with friends. When we got back, there was debris and confetti scattered across the floor, as if someone had come in. We always took our shoes off and made our own bed, so it alarmed us. Nothing seemed to be missing at the time, but we felt uncomfortable. A couple of days later, I asked the younger cleaner about laundry. She initially said it was free, so I gave her a 50k tip. Around then, I texted Anna, who said laundry was free for stays over a week. We stayed nine nights. The cleaner came back and said we had too many clothes and washing would cost at least 250k or more, and wouldn't be ready until the next day. We had less than 3kg of clothes, so the price and mixed messages seemed strange. We asked for the clothes back. She kept the tip, which I felt she didn't deserve. The older cleaner did deserve it, but we never saw her again. After we'd already left, I realized some of my clothes were missing. Why did she steal them and keep the tip? My advice: lock up your belongings, bring a camera for your room, and don't do laundry here. There are several nearby places that will do it for less.
The kitchen really made this room feel like home. It has cookware, bowls, cups, chopsticks, an induction hob, a strong range hood, a fridge, microwave and kettle, so making coffee or heating food was easy. There were also two large bottles of filtered water, G7 coffee and Cozy tea. The room itself is bright and airy, with warm lighting, a big soft bed, fragrant pillows and clean wooden floors. The curtains block light well, the air conditioner is cool, and it was quiet enough to sleep comfortably. There’s a desk, dressing table, roomy wardrobe, safe and plenty of hangers, plus outlets by the bed and clear QR Wi-Fi details. Everything in the bathroom was clean and dry, with good hot and cold water, toiletries, fresh towels and tissues. The slippers were soft, and even the little mosquito lamp was a nice touch. Downstairs, the reception area is clean, the elevator is quick, and there’s a water station. Staff were friendly and could communicate in Vietnamese and Korean. It’s very central, with a Starbucks Coffee just one house away and lots of restaurants nearby. The TV streamed YouTube smoothly, and the Wi-Fi and sockets worked well for using a laptop and charging a phone. I was surprised by how clean, new and well-equipped the room was. It felt as comfortable as a high-end hotel or a well-prepared Airbnb, and the little details made me want to come back.
The one thing I wasn't keen on was the lack of a card key. Still, this is a very clean, well-maintained budget stay, and it worked perfectly for staying on my own. I found it through someone I know and almost want to keep the place to myself 🤣. There’s a Korean restaurant called Songgahwaro in the next building, and the food is great. Really just a place to stay and sleep.
