Charmaine's Hotel & Apartment

The neighborhood has supermarkets, bars, restaurants, and cafes, and the Expo centre is nearby. HCM is still an easy quick trip away. We had a great stay, and the modern rooms feel like home, especially for anyone traveling long term.

The hotel has a lovely Indochine-ish style and doesn’t feel commercial. My room was clean and nice, though it could use a few small touch-ups. The bed was comfortable, the wifi fast, and the TV had Chromecast with premium netflix. The neighborhood felt safe enough that I could leave my bike unattended. I barely interacted with the staff, but they were OK. Good value for what I paid.

The hotel is gorgeous, with generously sized rooms, and it’s in a nice, quiet part of the upscale Phu my hung suburb. The bathrooms let it down, though. They weren’t clean, and the design meant they would flood, so we had to use the drain outside. The shower floors were disgusting and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months.

I spent two nights at Charmaine's and had a great stay. There are cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, and I found delicious pho and banh mi close by that worked well for breakfast. The room was spacious and clean, with a small kitchen and ironing facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful.
