Park View Saigon Hotel

The staff were kind and helpful, and the District 1 location was handy. Just be aware that many rooms don't have windows. Mine was clean, had its own safe, and the shower had strong pressure and plenty of hot water.

The location was perfect, and nights were generally quiet apart from other guests walking by. The room was small but good value, though it smelled like someone had smoked in it. Still had a good stay and would return. There's a nice guy selling coffee right outside the hotel, and his salted coffee was the best. Bánh mì places are nearby too.

I paid Agoda in full nine weeks ahead for a four-night stay, but when I arrived to check in they said there was no room and sent me to another hotel. How can a hotel take the full payment two months ahead and still not keep a room for the customer?

The rooms were compact, but neat and tidy, and they arranged a bike for us to rent at a reasonable price. This relatively new place is on a peaceful street, close to plenty of Ho Chi Minh City spots. Bui Vien Street, Asian Food Town, and Ben Thanh Market are all within walking distance. I'd definitely recommend it.
