We had a double deluxe with a city view and ended up on the 6th floor, which is actually the 7th. The room was clean and spacious, though a little dated. The shower is in the bathtub, so the bathroom could be difficult for anyone with limited mobility. The buffet was acceptable but didn’t offer much variety. Staff were friendly and easy to approach. The location is ideal, with lots of shopping and places of interest just a short walk away.

We couldn’t get a room on our latest visit to Ho Chi Minh because the hotel was fully booked on the day we wanted. I first stayed here after meeting my wife while travelling in Vietnam 28 years ago, and we’ve returned a couple of times since. It’s central, clean, and comfortable. This hotel feels like part of the heart of Ho Chi Minh to us, and I hope it always will. Once you’ve stayed here, you’ll want to come back.

Our renovated room had a window, though there was no view since it faced the back and several aircon compressors. It was simply set up, with a comfortable bed, and worked well for our four nights in Saigon. Breakfast was basic, with noodle and egg stations, but enough to eat before heading out. The central location put us close to the tourist sites, yet it was fairly quiet. We’d stay here again on our next visit.

The room was impressively clean, and the food was delicious with lots of choice. Even with a busy buffet, the staff were very kind and attentive. Had a wonderful time here, definitely worth a visit.

The room was spotless and I enjoyed the breakfast during my three-night stay. On the way back, my taxi to the airport didn’t show up and I was in a rush. The hotel staff helped me out, and I’m grateful to the hotelier and receptionist. Thank you.
